Deni Avdija continued his path to the NBA All-Star game Monday night against the Utah Jazz at Moda Center.
Avdija led Portland with 33 points and added eight rebounds and nine assists. Shaedon Sharpe bounced back after a rough shooting night Saturday in San Antonio with 29 points and seven assists on 11-of-19 shooting. He connected on 5-of-8 from three-point range.
Donovan Clingan continued his solid play. He recorded a double-double with 12 points and 17 rebounds.
Portland (17-20) led by 10 at the end of one and by 21 at halftime. The Blazers put the game away with a 15-2 run in the third and led by 31 heading into the fourth.
The Trail Blazers connected on 19-of-48 from three-point range and finished with 32 assists.
With the win, Portland is now 5-1 in their last six games.
Up Next- The Trail Blazers will host the first of back-to-back games against the Houston Rockets Wednesday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
