Caleb Love, Donovan Clingan, and Sidy Cissoko all scored career-highs as the Portland Trail Blazers snapped a four-game losing streak 127-123 over the Golden State Warriors Friday night at Chase Center in San Francisco.
Portland (7-9) was playing without Jrue Holiday (Calf) and Shaedon Sharpe (Calf) as they joined Matisse Thybulle, Damian Lillard, and Blake Wesley on the injured list.
Love scored a career high 26 and connected on three critical shots from beyond-the-arc in the fourth quarter to help Portland hold off Steph Curry and the Warriors.
Clingan scored a career-high 22 and pulled down 10 rebounds following his double-double performance on Wednesday, and Cissoko scored a career-high 15 on 6-of-11 shooting.
Golden State (9-9) took an 11-point lead midway thru the third quarter, but Portland responded with a 10-2 run and trailed by just three heading to the fourth.
The Trail Blazers opened the fourth on a 15-5 run to take a 109-102 lead. They led the rest of the way.
The Trail Blazers found strength in numbers with so many guys out of action due to injury. Deni Avdija led the team with 26 points and 14 assists, Toumani Camara finished with 20 on 7-of-11 shooting, and Robert Williams III added eight points and 11 rebounds.
The Trail Blazers finished the game with 32 assists and a 28-10 edge in second chance points.
