Shorthanded Lakers Stun Trail Blazers 123-115

------ Deandre Ayton finished with 29 points and 10 rebounds and Rui Hachimura added 28 as the Los Angeles Lakers ended the Portland Trail Blazers three-game winning streak 123-115 Monday night at Moda Center.

No Luka, no Lebron, no problem!

With Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves on the sideline, the shorthanded Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 123-115 Monday night at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

Deandre Ayton recorded a double-double with 29 points and 10 rebounds, Nick Smith Jr. finished with 25 points and six assists, and Rui Hachimura added 28.

Deni Avdija led Portland (4-3) with a game-high 33 points and Shaedon Sharpe added 23 points and seven rebounds.

The Trail Blazers connected on 49.4% of their shots but struggled from beyond-the-arc making just 9-of-40 while the Lakers scored 71 points in the second half.

The Trail Blazers built a 42-29 second quarter lead, but the Lakers closed the half on a 23-11 run to cut Portland's lead to just one at halftime.

Los Angeles used a 30-15 run in the third to take a four-point lead into the fourth quarter. The Lakers put the game away with a 10-0 late in the fourth and pushed their winning streak to four.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will host the OKC Thunder Wednesday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
