Jrue Holiday scored a team-high 27 points and Deni Avdija added 19 points, nine rebounds, and five assists as the Portland Trail Blazers topped the Utah Jazz 136-134 Wednesday night at Delta Center.
Portland dominated the second and third quarters with a combined 84 points and took an 22-point lead early in the fourth. But Utah would close the game on a 34-14 run to put a scare into Portland.
Jrue Holiday secured the win by grabbing the rebound off of an intentional miss at the free throw line by Kyle Filipowski and the clock ran out.
Jerami Grant scored 18 points and Shaedon Sharpe added 18 on 4-of-8 shooting from three-point range.
The Trail Blazers connected on 21-of-55 from beyond the arc and dished out a season-high 34 assists.
