Dalano Banton scored a team-high 23 points and Toumani Camara added 14 points, six rebounds, and four assists as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 109-81 Sunday afternoon at Moda Center.
Donovan Clingan finished up his rookie season with a double-double, 12 points and 12 rebounds and Rayan Rupert added 13 points and 10 rebounds.
The win came after news broke on Sunday morning that the Trail Blazers had agreed to an extension with Chauncey Billups.
Portland (36-46) took control of the game with a 13-1 run to end the first half taking a 58-43 lead into the locker room.
The Trail Blazers put the game away with an 11-2 run in the third to take a 29-point lead. The Lakers never threatened after that.
Los Angeles (50-32) locked up their playoff position and will be the three-seed in the Western Conference with a likely matchup against the Golden State Warriors in Round One of the NBA Playoffs.
