Warriors Roll Past Trail Blazers

----- Jimmy Butler finished with 24 points, seven rebounds, and five assists as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Portland Trail Blazers Friday night at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

Golden State Warriors one step closer to the Western Conference Playoffs after defeating the Portland Trail Blazers Friday night at Moda Center.

Jimmy Butler led the Warriors with 24 points, seven rebounds, and five assists and Buddy Hield added 16 points as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 103-86 Friday night at Moda Center.

Jabari Walker led Portland (35-46) with 19 points and Donovan Clingan recorded a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds.

Golden State (48-33) used multiple runs to take control of the game. The Trail Blazers led by six midway through the first quarter, but the Warriors closed the quarter on a 12-0 run to take a 26-20 lead into the second.

The Warriors extended their run in the second quarter to 24-7 and took a 13-point lead into the locker room.

In the third quarter, the Warriors took command with a 17-5 in the third. They led by as many as 25 in the period and took a 20-point lead into the fourth.

Golden State pushed their lead back to 23 early in the fourth and ended any hopes of a Trail Blazers comeback.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will host the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday afternoon at Moda Center in their season finale. The game is scheduled to tip off at 12:30 PM. It's fan appreciation day.
