Shaedon Sharped matched his career-high with 36 points and Deni Avdija recorded a double-double with 26 points and 15 rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Toronto Raptors 112-102 Thursday night at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
Donovan Clingan added eight points and 13 rebounds and Dalano Banton scored 22 points. Banton got the start in place of Anfernee Simons (forearm contusion).
RJ Barrett led Toronto (28-49) with 18 points and Orlando Robinson added 14 points and five rebounds.
Portland (34-43) trailed by three at halftime after giving up 15 points on 15 turnovers while while making just 4-of-20 from beyond-the-arc, but the Trail Blazers turned it around in the second half.
The Trail Blazers used a 17-8 run over the final 4:41 of the third quarter to take a seven-point lead into the fourth. The Blazers took control of the game with an 11-2 run in the fourth.
The Blazers were +19 in rebounds and held a 22-11 edge in second chance points.
Up Next- The Trail Blazers finish up their five-game road trip with the second of a back-to-back Friday evening in Chicago against the Bulls. The game is scheduled to tip off at 5:00 PM.
