Deni Avdija led Portland (32-42) with 24 points and Shaedon Sharpe finished 22 points and seven rebounds. The Trail Blazers shot just 39% for the game including just 32% from three-point range on 16-of-50 shooting.
The Kings held a 46-32 edge in rebounding, 24-11 advantage in fast break points, and outscored the Trail Blazers in the paint 60-32.
Sacramento (36-37) shot 62% in the first building a nine-point lead. They used an 11-5 run in the second to push their lead out to 15 and took an 18-point lead into the locker room.
The Kings led by 18 at the end of the third after shooting 83% in the quarter. The Kings led by at least 15-points for the entire second half.
The loss dropped Portland to four-games behind Dallas for the final play-in spot in the Western Conference with eight-games to play.
