Trail Blazers Dominate The Nuggets

------ Deni Avdija finished with 36 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists and Shadeon Sharpe added 23 points and six rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers win their fourth-straight game with a 128-109 victory over the Denver Nuggets Friday night at Moda Center.

Youth Gone Wild! Portland's young core led the Trail Blazers to their fourth-straight win.

Deni Avdija scored a game-high 36 points to go along with eight rebounds and seven assists and Shaedon Sharpe finished with 23 points and six rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Denver Nuggets 128-109 Friday night at Moda Center.

Portland (32-39) played without Anfernee Simons, Donovan Clingan, Robert Williams, and Jerami Grant. Denver (44-27) played without Nikola Jokic.

The Trail Blazers used a 14-0 third quarter run to build a nine-point lead at 76-67. The Nuggets responded with a 13-4 run to even the game at 80 late in the third, but Portland closed the quarter on an 8-2 run to take a six-point lead into the fourth.

The Trail Blazers put the game away with 13-straight points that pushed their lead to 22.

Portland was +16 in second chance points, +22 in points in the paint, and dished out 30 assists.

Aaron Gordon led Denver with 23 points and Russell Westbrook added 18.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers host the Boston Celtics Sunday at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 3:00 PM.
