Kings Crown The Blazers

----- The Kings get six players to score in double-figures as Portland falls for the second-straight night 115-107 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.

CJ McCollum's slump is officially a major problem for the Trail Blazers. McCollum scored a season-low six points on 2-for-14 shooting as the Blazers fall to the Kings 115-107 Monday night at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.

McCollum did not score a bucket after halftime going 0-for-6 from the floor.

Damian Lillard led the Blazers with 35 points, but he had little help on the night. The Blazers shot just 40.2% from the field including 10-for-32 from three-point range. Jusuf Nurkic pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out five assists, but he scored just six points on seven shots.

Jake Layman continued his solid play in place of Maurice Harkless in the starting lineup scoring 13 points on 6-for-9 shooting in 22 minutes.

The Blazers started the game strong on both ends of the floor playing with good energy and solid ball movement as they built a 27-24 lead, but the Kings responded with a 20-8 run to open the second quarter to take control of the game. Sacramento outscored Portland 30-17 in the second quarter.

The big issue for Portland in the first half came from sloppy play. The Blazers committed 11 turnovers in the first half scoring just 44 points. In the second half, they scored 63 points with just three turnovers.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers return home to face the Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.

Chad's Take- CJ McCollum scored as season-low six points. He is making 25.8 million this season.
