Blazers Burn The Suns

----- Damian Lillard scored 27 points as the Blazers end their three-game losing streak with a win over the Phoenix Suns Tuesday night at Moda Center.

Damian Lillard was the Blazers' meal ticket on Tuesday night as Lillard scored 31 points on 11-for-19 shooting and dished out six assists in Portland's 118-111 win over the Phoenix Suns Tuesday night at Moda Center.

The Blazers offense was firing on all cylinders as they raced to a 66-51 halftime lead on 55.6% shooting from the floor. The Blazers did the majority of their damage from downtown on the night connecting on 17 of their 35 shots from three-point range.

Aside from Lillard, Portland (23-21) had great balance on offense tonight. CJ McCollum scored 27 points, Al-Farouq Aminu recorded 14 points and nine rebounds, and Evan Turner scored 12 points on 6-for-10 shooting. Shabazz Napier led the bench scoring with 11 points.

Phoenix (16-29) got a game-high 43 points from Devin Booker on 14-for-29 shooting. Booker led the Suns charge in the fourth quarter scoring 21 points and hitting four three-pointers. The Suns outscored the Blazers 39-26 in the final quarter. Trailing 94-72 to start the fourth, the Suns opened the quarter on a 21-9 run to cut the Blazers' lead to 103-93. Terry Stotts then put the starters back in the game and Phoenix never mounted a serious threat for the remainder of the game.

The win was Portland's sixth-straight over Phoenix and fourth-straight win at Moda Center.

Next up- The Trail Blazers will get a day off then host the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night at Moda Center. The Game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.

Chad's take- Shabazz is the man, Shabazz is the man, Shabazz is the man, Shabazz!
