The Clark County Sheriff's Office continues to target retail thieves. Their latest operation focused on the Orchard's Fred Meyer store.
They worked with Fred Meyer loss prevention officers to identify the suspects.
Some of the stolen items were alcohol, a KitchenAid mixer, a hoverboard, electronics, and propane tanks.
In some cases the suspects were caught skip-scanning. That's when they use self checkout and only scan the cheapest items. Loss prevention officers watch for this and document repeat offenders.
Eight people were arrested in this mission. 12 people were arrested in a previous mission.
