Demonstrators against the war in Gaza broke into the library at Portland State University Monday evening.
The group had been protesting at the front of the library since last week.
Portland Police Chief Bob Day says the break in has now become an illegal activity. They're asking them to leave peacefully. Law enforcement is developing a plan to remove the demonstrators.
District Attorney Mike Schmidt says people who broke into the library will likely be charged with felony crimes.
