A Forest Grove firefighter fell through the floor of a burning home Friday morning.
When firefighters arrived, smoke was coming from the roof line and vents.
They thought the fire was in the attic, but it was burning under the home. That weakened the floor and a firefighter fell through. The firefighter wasn't injured.
It took an hour to put out the fire and hot spots.
The home was vacant and in the process of being converted into an adult care home. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
