Portland Fire & Rescue responded to a call in Northeast Portland near 123rd and Siskiyou where a branch caused a power line to fall on an SUV.
Three people in the vehicle, two adults and a teenager, got out and were electrocuted. They died at the scene.
A two-year-old child in the vehicle was grabbed by a neighbor and wasn't hurt. The child was taken to a hospital.
Firefighters say that if a power line falls on your vehicle stay inside, because the tires should prevent electrocution until the line can be de-energized.
