Morrison Bridge Closures Planned

In January and February there will be several Morrison Bridge closures and other traffic impacts for maintenance on the bridge. 

Jan. 11-12 

On Thursday, Jan. 11 the S.W. Naito Parkway eastbound on-ramp to the bridge will close at 7 a.m. for crews to set up equipment for upcoming greasing and cleaning of bridge gears. The ramp will reopen on Friday, Jan 12 at 6:00 p.m. There will be no full bridge closure for this work. 

Full Bridge Closures

The Morrison Bridge will close on the following weekends for the greasing and cleaning of bridge gears: 

January 26 - 28

On Friday, Jan. 26 starting at 8:00 p.m. the Morrison Bridge will close. It will reopen on Monday, Jan. 29 at 5:00 a.m. 

February 2 - 4

On Friday, Feb. 2 starting at 8:00 p.m. the Morrison Bridge will close. It will reopen on Monday, Feb. 5 at 5:00 a.m. 

February 9 - 11

On Friday, Feb. 9 starting at 8:00 p.m. the Morrison Bridge will close. It will reopen on Monday, Feb. 12 at 5:00 a.m. 

Use alternative routes during these upcoming closures and plan ahead for your commute. Multnomah County maintains the Hawthorne, Morrison, Burnside, Broadway, Sellwood and Wapato bridges on the Willamette River. For information, visit: https://www.multco.us/bridges.
