The Oregon Zoo is offering visitors a chance to “paws and relax” this fall with discounted admission Nov. 4–10, presented by First Tech Federal Credit Union.

“Before we head into the busy holiday season, we’re inviting folks to press pause, take a moment and connect with wildlife,” said Oregon Zoo director Heidi Rahn. “The grounds are beautiful this time of year, and it’s a great chance to see what’s new at the zoo.”

Guests can check in on orangutan mom Kitra and little Jolene, plus get a look at some of this year’s new arrivals — like a family of rare snowy owls in the zoo’s Great Northwest area and Harper, a playful white-cheeked gibbon at Primate Forest.

Due to capacity limits, walk-up admissions cannot be accommodated, and all tickets must be reserved online in advance via the zoo website.
