A white object appeared in the sky above northwest Oregon Wednesday morning.
It remained in the same place, near the moon, for two to three hours.
Near Space Corporation, based in Tillamook, launched the research balloon. It reached an altitude of 100,000 feet before landing.
The company does high altitude and near space work for governments, businesses and researchers.
The company has been in business since 1996. It's based at a former blimp hangar.
