Calling all veterans: Multnomah County and the Portland Pickles are giving away free game tickets for veterans and their families Thursday, Aug. 3 at Walker Stadium against the Corvallis Knights!
The promotion is possible thanks to a partnership with Multnomah County Veterans’ Services. Veterans’ Services provides benefits information, assistance and advocacy to all who have served and their families.
“Multnomah County is deeply grateful for our service members and their families,” said Sheila Balbin, who manages the Veterans’ Services program. “This special event, in partnership with the Pickles, is one small way of thanking our veterans for their immense contributions to our community.”
The event will take place at 7:05 PM at Walker Stadium, located at 4727 SE 92nd Ave, Portland, OR. Veterans who are interested will be able to claim their free tickets by filling out the interest form and providing proof of U.S. military service.
Thursday night’s game also marks the final home game of the regular season. The theme of the event, “Fan Appreciation Night,” celebrates seven years of Portland Pickles baseball and their loyal fanbase.
