On June 25, at approximately 12:17 a.m., a Gresham Police officer was flagged down about a shooting that occurred at S. Main Ave. and Powell Blvd. The victim reported that the driver of a white Ford Fusion chased him down and shot at him, striking his vehicle. On the morning of July 4, detectives performed a search of the suspect’s vehicle and residence, pursuant to a signed search warrant. The search yielded evidence of the crime, 11 firearms, and more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition.

19-year-old Matteo Greene, of Gresham, was lodged at Multnomah County Detention Center on suspicion of Attempt Assault in the First Degree, Unlawful Use of Weapon, and Unlawful Possession of Firearms.
