A passenger was killed when a paraglider crashed into the Willamette River south of Corvallis on Saturday.
The Benton County Sheriff's Office says the pilot and passenger took off from Irish Bend Park and were following the river when the crash happened.
Two fishermen rescued the pilot, who was hospitalized.
The passenger was trapped underwater. His body was recovered by a dive team.
Investigators don't think impairment was a factor in the crash. The NTSB is investigating.
