Sunday Parkways In The Cully Neighborhood

Portland Sunday Parkways presented by Kaiser Permanente, Portland’s favorite open streets event, is celebrating summer with free entertainment and activities along 6-miles of streets in Northeast Portland on Sunday, June 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Join the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) for this free, accessible, public event where streets are closed to cars and people are invited to walk, bike, roll, stroll, and play in the streets and parks.

“Es un gran evento en donde se puede ir con la familia y con mucha seguridad ya que las calles están cerradas y se puede ir tranquilamente en bicicleta o caminando” - Isabel Eusebio, member of Andando en Bicicletas y Caminando

English translation: “It is a great event you can go to with your family and feel safe, because the streets are closed down and you can bike or walk peacefully.”

Sunday Parkways offers exciting activities for people of all ages. Check out food vendors, musical performances, dance classes, and community resources. The Northeast Cully Portland Sunday Parkways event page showcases a full lineup of performances and activities.

“Every Sunday Parkways has its own unique feel, and the Northeast Cully route is no exception,” said Interim Transportation Director Tara Wasiak. “I’m particularly excited about the Waterfront Blues Festival and Nico’s Cantina Pop Up for the music, tacos, and good vibes!”
