Highway 20 is closed in Eastern Oregon because of several debris slides. ODOT says rock, mud, and other debris came onto the highway at several locations about 12 miles east of Juntura between Burns and Vale. The highway is covered with more than six-feet of debris in some areas. Power and other utility lines also came down. The highway is expected to remain closed for several days. ODOT says drivers should use main highways, because secondary roads could have similar conditions.
