One person was killed and two people were injured in a fire early Thursday morning in Vancouver.
When firefighters arrived, the house was fully engulfed. The house is located in the 15700 block of NW Lower River Road, near the end of the roadway.
Two occupants were transported to an area hospital with serious injuries and one occupant was unaccounted for at the scene.
The missing person was found deceased in the house.
The house is being described as a total loss. Investigators from the Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office, Vancouver Police Department, Clark County Sheriff’s Office, and the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to conduct the investigation into what occurred.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Foul play is not suspected.
