On February 22nd, 2023, at about 4:45 p.m. the Oregon City Police Department responded to a death investigation in the 900 block of Josephine St. in Oregon City.
Upon arriving, patrol officers located a 71-year-old deceased male inside the residence. Oregon City Detectives, along with the Clackamas County Major Crimes Team and Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office, responded to assist with the investigation. Investigators determined the death was the result of a homicide.
The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old Mason David Estabrook. Estabrook was arrested last night by Portland Police. He's charged with Murder in the Second Degree.
