The Clark County Sheriff's Office has identified a deputy who was injured when a falling tree hit his patrol car.
Drew Kennison, a 14-year-veteran of the sheriff's office, was returning from training when the accident happened.
The tree hit the patrol car at the base of the windshield. Firefighters had to extricate Kennison from the vehicle.
He underwent surgery and remains hospitalized in serious, but stable condition.
