Passengers on Alaska Airlines will no longer get plastic cups.
The Seattle-based airline has switched from plastic cups to paper cups for inflight drinks.
The change eliminates 55 million plastic cups every year. Alaska Airlines already swapped plastic bottles with Boxed Water.
In 2018, Alaska eliminated plastic straws and stir sticks.
The airline says the move keeps more than two-point-two million pounds of plastic from landfills each year.
