The Oregon Zoo is offering visitors a chance to “paws and relax” this fall with half-price admission Nov. 7–11.
“Before we head into the busy holiday season we’re inviting folks to press pause, take a moment and connect with wildlife,” said Oregon Zoo director Heidi Rahn. “The grounds are beautiful this time of year, and it’s a great chance to see what’s new at the zoo.”
Guests can check in on orangutan mom Kitra and her 6-month-old baby Jolene, plus get a look at some recent fall arrivals — like a trio of cheeky red-tailed monkeys and a crocodile monitor known as Johnny 5.
Due to capacity limits, walk-up admissions cannot be accommodated, and all tickets must be reserved online in advance. Tickets will be available through the zoo’s website up to 10 days in advance of the visit date. Reservations for Nov. 7 can be made starting Oct. 29.
