An illegal street takeover event on Sunday night in Portland had a shooting that killed one person and injured two.
Police say the street takeover happened on Marine Drive over I-5.
20-year-old Cameron Taylor was one of three people shot. He was taken from the scene in a private vehicle. The people who were with him stopped near the east end of the Broadway Bridge and tried to help him, but he died. They called 9-1-1 and reported an overdose, but when officers arrived they found Taylor dead from a gunshot wound.
Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting suspect to contact them.
