Peacock Lane Residents Prepare For Christmas Season

The holiday season is upon us, and the residents of Peacock Lane, Portland’s Christmas Street, are pleased to announce that their annual lighting event is a go for 2021! While there are a few changes to this year’s event, there will be plenty of lighting displays for the public to enjoy, absolutely free of charge. Prepare to jump in your car and take a tour of the lights, which feature classic holiday characters, seasonal-themed displays, and plenty of twinkling lights and holiday joy.

Peacock Lane does not charge an admission fee to view the lights and asks that groups and individuals help to keep the event commercial-free by not passing flyers or soliciting visitors for sales or donations.

The Schedule:

December 15th - 31st from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

Note: There will not be any pedestrian-only nights this year, nor will there be a Cocoa & Cider booth.

Transportation and Parking

We recommend drive-through viewing of the lights this year, which means you should plan for extra time due to traffic. If you park and walk, be sure to utilize free street parking several blocks away (do not park in the Walgreens lot). Please be respectful of our neighbors when parking in the area.

If you’re planning to use public transit, TriMet buses 15, 75, and 20 have stops within a few blocks; http://trimet.org/#/planner
