A memorial in downtown Portland for an anarchist activist who was killed two years ago turned destructive Tuesday night causing at least $500,000 in damage.

The memorial was for 23-year-old Sean Kealiher who was hit by a vehicle outside of the Cider Riot bar in Northeast Portland. A suspect hasn't been arrested.

Following Tuesday night's memorial, windows were broken on several buildings, trash cans were set on fire, fireworks were shot off, and ATMs were damaged.

Police say Anarchists caused damage at 35 separate locations. No arrests have been made, but police are working to identify those responsible.
