Nearly 10,000 cyclists and walkers took part in the 25th annual Providence Bridge Pedal.
After a COVID pause in 2020, the iconic cyclic event was back with five routes for all abilities ā from a 23-mile ride that took riders over bridges spanning from the Fremont to the Sellwood to a three-mile kids pedal over the Hawthorne and Steel bridges. Walkers had the opportunity to take a five-mile stroll over the Marquam Bridge and Tilikum Crossing.
Because of the pandemic, the Bridge Pedal was Portlandās first major community event since the Portland Marathon in 2019.
