Eight pythons were found in the parking area of Lacamas Park in Camas.
Pythons are not native to the Pacific Northwest and police believe someone who had the snakes as pets set them free.
The pythons ranged in size from three to six feet in length.
All of the snakes were caught and police searched the area for any snakes that might have moved into the park.
They were taken to the animal shelter to determine what will happen to them.
