A semi crashed on I-5 northbound in Southwest Portland Wednesday around 4:30 a.m. crushing a car.
The people in the car survived, but it took firefighters about an hour to get them out from under the semi's trailer.
This section of the freeway, known as the Terwilliger Curves, has reduced speeds, because of several crashes that have occurred in the past.
Portland Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
