New Event Venue In Portland

Fuller Events announces the launch of The Lot at Zidell Yards, Portland’s premier socially-distanced outdoor performance venue, welcoming people to safely come together in 2021 for live music, dance, art, fundraisers, outdoor movies, storytelling, inspiration and more. The Lot will feature many of Portland’s most beloved organizations, artists, festivals and businesses to provide an exciting lineup of live performances from May through September 2021.

“We believe that our city’s musicians, artists, cultural institutions, and creatives not only make up the rich and colorful fabric of Portland, but are also essential components to the economic health of our city,” said Christina Fuller, Co-Owner and Partner, Fuller Events, “The Lot will provide opportunities to put our artists and our event production and hospitality professionals back to work, and give our audience the opportunity to celebrate and reconnect.”

Located at 3030 S Moody Avenue, The Lot at Zidell Yards will feature a full stage, a large format LED screen, a site-specific sound system, and an on-site food and beverage program—all for guests to enjoy with their quaran-team from the comfort of their socially-distanced seating pod.

“In alignment with The Lot team’s vision, we believe in the restorative power of live performances and gathering together, in the safest way possible,” said Charlene Zidell, ZRZ Realty Company, “As longtime supporters of the Portland arts community, we’re proud to host The Lot on ZRZ Realty property.”

The Lot will feature daily programming throughout the summer, including live music, movies, charity fundraisers, wellness classes and more. The summer calendar is filling up and key partnerships are already in place with:

More events will continue to be announced via The Lot's newsletter and social media channels, with event details and ticketing information available on the website. Rental and booking opportunities are also available for events throughout the season.

The Lot will be an inclusive performance venue for all of Portland. In addition to The Lot’s inaugural partnerships with both Pride NW, celebrating our region’s LGBTQ+ community and the Waterfront Blues Festival, supporting our region’s BIPOC musicians—The Lot will continue to add programming that honors and celebrates Portland’s vibrant and diverse community. Throughout the summer, The Lot will also be a place for families and audiences of all ages, with fun and engaging programming for everyone to enjoy.

The health and safety of the community is the highest priority of The Lot at Zidell Yards. The Lot will follow state and county health guidelines to create a safe experience for all audience members, staff and performers. The Lot has the following key safety measures in place: socially-distanced seating pods, wide thoroughfares with clearly marked traffic lanes, limited seating capacity, touchless ticket scanning, mask-wearing guidelines for all attendees, staff and performers, stringent cleaning and sanitizing protocols and ample restrooms with attendants and cleaning procedures. More information on The Lot’s safety protocols can be found on the website.

By building a controlled and consistent outdoor venue, with protocols in place for the five month duration, Fuller Events is providing a solution for gathering together safely and celebrating the return of live performances to Portland.

“The Lot at Zidell Yards is rooted in the collaborative spirit of Portland,” said Tyler Fuller, Founder and Partner, Fuller Events, “We’re committed to working with key stakeholders to rebuild events in Portland, kickstart cultural activities and reinvigorate our city’s spirit.”
