The Oregon House session Monday has been cancelled, because of COVID-19.

Some members who were in the house and exposed to the virus are still waiting for test results.

The Speaker has ordered computer software to read lengthy bills on final passage to reduce the risk of virus transmission by someone reading the bill.

There is a proforma gavel-in, gavel-out that will occur due to constitutional requirements – members are not needed on the floor.

The House plans to meet next Tuesday.
