Oregon State Police have released a sketch of a girl whose body was found near in the Van Duzer Forest State Scenic Corridor.
On December 10, investigators found the remains of a female child.
The Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office estimate the deceased’s age to be six to ten years old. She is approximately 3’10” to 4’6” tall, and had long hair that is dark brown or black. Her race or ethnic origin has yet to be determined, but DNA analysis is not complete.
The Medical Examiner says the girl had been dead at least 30 days.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office helped created the sketch of the victim.
Detectives aren't releasing the cause and manner of the girl's death.
