Portland Police Seek Molotov Cocktail Suspect

During a demonstration outside of the Penumbra Kelly building in East Portland someone through a molotov cocktail and Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information that least to an arrest.

The demonstration started at Laurelhurst Park and marched to the Kelly building located 47th and East Burnside Street. The crowd stayed off of the property and near the entrance to the parking lot. Some individuals in the crowd threw various items into the parking lot.

One of the items thrown was identified by the Explosive Disposal Unit and Arson investigators as a viable Molotov cocktail. The wick was lit and the device was thrown onto the property. Fortunately, the fire extinguished and no one was injured.
