Weâre all being played as the Washington establishment wants war.
Yesterday, Republic House lawmakers approved a sweeping, roughly $1.5 trillion spending package on Wednesday that also includes $14 billion in aid for Ukraine.
As Tucker Carlson pointed out on his show last night:
âThese are the people who are about to spend another $15 billion in American tax money not on Texas, not on fixing homelessness, not on helping the families whose children who have died of fentanyl overdoses because of the open border that we have. But theyâre gonna send it to defense contractors to defend a countryâs border on the other side of the world.â
John Binder points out that the plan also:
â...uses American taxpayer money to fund âborder securityâ measures in eight foreign countries while including no new funds to construct a border wall along the United States-Mexico border.
The government funding package spends about $370 million in taxpayer money to fund âenhanced border securityâ in Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, and Oman. At least $150 million of that funding is allocated for Jordanâs borders.
Likewise, the package includes taxpayer money to fund border security in Libya, âborder security activitiesâ in Nepal, and âborder security programsâ in Pakistan.
Though Republicans were able to preserve nearly $2 billion in previously-allocated border wall construction funds, the package does not include any new border wall funding.â
