This week the Salem Insider says the love is wearing off among Oregon lawmakers. The battle over tough budget decisions is beginning to wear on legislators. One of the most significant battles was over the Pay Equity bill. It passed the House, but not without strong opposition from Republicans who fought to have veterans included in the bill. Many lawmakers are also questioning Governor Kate Brown’s decision to fire three members of the Environmental Quality Commission. A bill to ban Left Lane Hogs is making progress. It would make it illegal to use the left lane on a freeway or highway unless you’re passing.
