ISIS Returns to Iraq. A&G talk to Liz Sly

"There is no functioning government, and Iran runs the place"--Jack Armstrong.

Liz Sly of the Washington Post phoned-in from Beirut to talk to Armstrong & Getty about the progress (or lack thereof) being made by Iraq's government to provide some form of civilization in the many years since Saddam Hussein was ousted.

Ms. Sly tells Jack & Joe that for the moment, "some of the very worst fighting of recent years has tamped down a little bit".  But the people of Iraq are facing a number of challenges, largely due to corruption and the complete failure of their government.

Another issue of great concern is the re-emergence of ISIS in Iraq.

"This is what the the last 15 years has wrought?"--Joe Getty.
