A Portland man has pleaded guilty to Arson of a Federal Building.
34-year-old Trenton Barker was demonstrating outside of the ICE building in South Portland when he threw a lit flare onto a pile of debris against the metal vehicle gate at the facility on June 11th.
Federal prosecutors say he was part of a group that tried to prevent officers from exiting through the gate.
Barker faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. He’ll be sentenced in March.
