The Las Vegas Raiders have reportedly traded wide receiver Jakobi Meyers to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a fourth- and sixth-round picks, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday (November 4), hours before the NFL's trade deadline.
"ESPN sources: Raiders are trading WR Jakobi Meyers to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for fourth- and sixth-round picks. Multiple teams including the [Pittsburgh] Steelers and Jaguars had shown interest in Meyers, who is scheduled to become a free agent after his contract expires this season," Schefter wrote on his X account.
The Jaguars entered Tuesday with 13 projected picks in the 2026 NFL Draft and still have 11 remaining, according to Schefter.
"The Jaguars came into today with a projected 13 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft: They traded a 4th and a 6th to get Jakobi Meyers — and still have 11 picks left. 2026 picks left: Rounds 2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 5, 5, 6, 7, 7, 7," Schefter wrote on his X account.
Meyers led the Raiders with 33 receptions and had 352 receiving yards, which was tied tight end Brock Bowers for second behind only wide receiver Tre Tucker (427), but hasn't scored a touchdown through his first seven games of the 2025 NFL season. The former NC State standout was coming off a career-best 87 receptions for 1,027 yards, as well as four touchdowns, in 2024.
The Jaguars addressed a need at wide receiver after placing rookie Travis Hunter on injured reserve due to a knee injury. Hunter, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, was planned to be the No. 1 option prior to his injury amid Brian Thomas Jr.'s league-worst nine dropped passes.
