41 Dogs Rescued

The Oregon Humane Society helped the Polk County Sheriff's Office remove 41 dogs from a property south of Monmouth, because they were suffering from neglect. The Sheriff's Office began investigation after finding a stray puppy in poor health. The owner of the dogs allowed deputies to investigate. They obtained a search warrant. The Humane Society brought in a team of 12 experts who transported the dogs to their facility in Portland. They are not up for adoption. The owner is charged with animal neglect.
