The fifth and final weekend directional closure of OR 217 is the northbound section from OR 99W to Scholls Ferry Road. This is scheduled to begin this Saturday morning, Aug. 16, at 5:30 a.m. and end Monday morning, Aug. 18, by 5 a.m. The directional closure was originally scheduled to begin Friday night but is postponed until Saturday morning due to forecasted rain.
Here's what you need to know:
- All northbound lanes of OR 217 will close for the weekend from OR 99W to Scholls Ferry Road:
- Starting Saturday morning, Aug. 16, at 5:30 a.m. to Monday morning, Aug. 18, by 5 a.m.
- All northbound drivers will exit OR 217 at OR 99W.
- The following northbound ramps will also close for the weekend:
- 72nd Avenue on-ramp.
- OR 99W on-ramps.
- Greenburg Road off-ramp.
- Greenburg Road on-ramp.
- Scholls Ferry Road off-ramp.
- Detour is via I-5 through Portland, I-405, and U.S. 26.
During the weekend work, crews will pave the ramps, shoulders, and highway lanes. Temporary striping will be in place until the pavement cures and then the contractor will install final striping.
