The Corgi Beach Takeover at Seaside drew 1,500 people and 900 corgis to Seaside on Saturday.

192 Corgis participated in the iconic Corgi Races where these low rider dogs were greeted with cheers and laughter. In the end, Dexter, Goobie, and Maggie won first, second and third place.

The event is expected to raise nearly $30,000 for the lifesaving programs at Oregon Humane Society.

Attendees came from all over including Oklahoma, Indiana, Kentucky, and Germany!

This was the third year the event was held in Seaside. New this year was a beer garden hosted by our friends at Pelican Brewing. They were serving their Short Legs IPA.
