One person died and two people were injured in a fast moving Hazel Dell apartment fire early Thursday.
Witnesses heard a person screaming from inside of the building followed by a series of explosions.
When firefighters arrived, part of the complex was fully involved and residents were evacuating.
One person was transported to a hospital. A second injured person declined treatment.
While searching the building, firefighters located a body. The Medical Examiner will determine the person's identity and cause of death.
Dozens of people were displaced. The Red Cross is helping with temporary housing.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
