A team of 17 Clackamas County firefighters is in Canada to help battle the Red Earth East Complex.
The fire has burned over 608,000 acres in Northern Alberta.
It took the firefighters driving three days to reach the site.
The crew is trained to fight wildfires and help with prescribed burns. They're expected to return June 16th.
