Two semis, a car and a pickup were involved in a crash Tuesday morning on Highway 30, south of the St. Johns Bridge in Portland.
A semi carrying 4,000 gallons of gas was on its side. Diesel was leaking from one of the truck's saddle tanks.
Firefighters carefully drilled a hole in the side of the tanker filled with gas, so it could be transferred to another tanker. One person was hospitalized.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
