A sleeping teenager in Gresham was killed by gunfire.
Gresham Police say early Sunday morning, there was gunfire in an apartment near Southwest 11th Avenue and Highland Drive. Bullets went through a wall and hit the teenager who was sleeping in another apartment. Officers gave first aid, but the 13-year-old died at a hospital.
Officers located another person a short distance away who was also wounded by gunfire. That person is expected to survive.
No arrests have been made.
